Today is the official release date for www.sharkoutofwater.com, the official website for Juan's LEO-nominated directorial debut.

Juan Riedinger recently completed a supporting role in the upcoming horror-comedy, Jennifer’s Body, in which he stars alongside Megan Fox (Transformers), Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia) and Adam Brody (The O.C.).
Jennifer’s Body was written by Oscar ® winning writer Diablo Cody, who skyrocketed to fame with the success of Juno, and was produced by Oscar ® nominated director Jason Reitman.

Jennifer’s Body is not Riedinger’s first shot at horror.  The up-and-coming actor completed a lead role as the serial killer, Grey, in the soon to be released film On a Dark and Stormy Night. He also appeared in Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, as the ill-fated stoner, Scotty, and in Black Christmas as the bitter and fatalistic morgue attendant. He will also share the screen alongside Jennifer Connely in the highly anticipated The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Riedinger, originally from Banff, Alberta, moved to Vancouver four years ago to pursue acting full time. Soon after, he won a nationwide casting call for a recurring role in Showcase’s Godiva’s. He also landed a supporting lead in Shred alongside Tom Green, and guest starred in such television shows as Smallville and Bionic Woman. Riedinger’s role in the independent film Zero Hour also won him two best actor awards at festivals in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Currently, Riedinger has a supporting role in Hardwired, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Val Kilmer.

In April of 2008, Riedinger made his directorial debut, completing a twenty-minute film entitled Shark Out of Water. This film, which Riedinger also wrote, deals with two poker-obsessed young men who must come to terms with their addiction, and includes a cameo appearence by internationally renowned poker champion Phil Hellmuth.
