After wrapping up on the horror feature Alice D. (which also stars horror legend Kane Hodder), Juan will be acting in the short dramatic film Reunion. The film will be shot in Sayulita, Mexico and Los Angeles, and stars both Juan and his wife - Agam Darshi, who will be playing a couple. This month, Juan will also be editing Agam's directorial debut film Fade Out, which was produced with the assistance of Bravo!FACT

November 2012
Juan landed a supporting role in a feature film entitled Broken Horses, by Bollywood legend Vidhu Vinod Chopra (Three Idiots, Parinda), where he is working alongside Vincent D'Onofrio, Anton Yelchin, and cinematographer Tom Stern (The Hunger Games, Mystic River). Juan has also been cast as a lead character in the horror feature Alice D., which will be shooting in Rhode Island in 2013.

Juan has been cast as the lead character in an exciting new web series called Pavement, which begins production this month and is set on the streets of LA. Also, Float a 35mm short film which Juan directed with a grant from Bravo!FACT - made its Canadian premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival, where Juan received the award for 'Most Promising Director of a Canadian Short Film'.

Juan has been nominated for Best Actor in the Chicago Horror Film Festival for his leading role in the acclaimed feature-length thriller Spades. Additionally, Juan will be appearing in films at various festivals this month, including: the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (Like a Tree in Which there are Three Black Birds); the Calgary International Film Festival (Marilyn); the Naperville Independent Film Festival (Spades); and the Chicago Horror Film Festival (Spades).

Juan Riedinger recently completed a supporting role in the upcoming horror-comedy, Jennifer’s Body, in which he stars alongside Megan Fox (Transformers), Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia) and Adam Brody (The O.C.).  Jennifer’s Body was written by Oscar ® winning writer Diablo Cody, who skyrocketed to fame with the success of Juno, and was produced by Oscar ® nominated director Jason Reitman.

Jennifer’s Body is not Riedinger’s first shot at horror.  The up-and-coming actor completed a lead role as the serial killer, Grey, in the soon to be released film On a Dark and Stormy Night. He also appeared in Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, as the ill-fated stoner, Scotty, and in Black Christmas as the bitter and fatalistic morgue attendant. He will also share the screen alongside Jennifer Connely in the highly anticipated The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Riedinger, originally from Banff, Alberta, moved to Vancouver four years ago to pursue acting full time. Soon after, he won a nationwide casting call for a recurring role in Showcase’s Godiva’s. He also landed a supporting lead in Shred alongside Tom Green, and guest starred in such television shows as Smallville and Bionic Woman. Riedinger’s role in the independent film Zero Hour also won him two best actor awards at festivals in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Currently, Riedinger has a supporting role in Hardwired, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Val Kilmer.

In April of 2008, Riedinger made his directorial debut, completing an eighteen film entitled Shark Out of Water. This film, which Riedinger also wrote, deals with two poker-obsessed young men who must come to terms with their addiction, and includes a cameo appearence by internationally renowned poker champion Phil Hellmuth.
